A Night at the Circus: CEP Brings The Greatest Showman to Leigh Academy Trust Awards
At CEP Agency, we believe in creating experiences that don’t just entertain - they create an experience. And for Leigh Academy Trust’s annual Awards Night, we pulled out all the stops to deliver a show-stopping spectacle!
Working closely with the school, we curated and choreographed a full evening of immersive Greatest Showman-themed entertainment, combining visual impact, live performance, and seamless flow from guest arrival to final applause.
From First Step to Final Bow
Guests were welcomed in true circus style by a trio of stilt walkers (including a charismatic Ringmaster and two cheeky clowns), a juggling unicyclist, and our LED aerial heart with a live aerialist performing as attendees entered the venue. A balloon arch and photo backdrop offered a perfect selfie stop right from the start.
In the welcome room, our LED Canapé Showgirls and strolling Champagne Table brought the sparkle - offering nibbles and Pimm’s with a flourish. Roaming performers, including a close-up circus magician and a Tarot-reading actress, set the tone with interactive moments.
A Seamless Shift Into Showtime
As guests made their way upstairs to the main dinner space, our aerialist welcomed them on a freestanding lollipop hoop. The awards ceremony opened with live vocals (provided by the school’s talented associates), as our dancers escorted the host to the stage with hat, cane, and flair in a smooth handover.
Throughout the evening, our performers supported and enhanced every beat: magic at the tables, circus tricks during dessert, and a clever relocation of the selfie station to frame award winners’ photos post-presentation.
A Grand Finale to Remember
One of the highlights? A stunning choreographed piece by our acrobatic duo to Rewrite the Stars, performed live alongside student vocalists. And to close, the full cast came together - dancers, acrobats, unicyclist, and more—for a flash-mob style finale to The Greatest Show, creating an unforgettable final note.
Bringing It All Together
Behind the scenes, our event managers and couriers kept everything moving smoothly - from setting up the LED heart and roaming tables, to coordinating timings and performer transitions.
This event was a brilliant example of collaboration - pairing professional talent with community-led moments and creative direction from Leigh Academy Trust. We were proud to be a part of it.
