About The Dino Dig:
Step into a prehistoric world and join us for a roar-some journey of discovery! The Dino Dig is an immersive, hands-on experience where children become fully-fledged Dino Rangers, uncovering ancient secrets hidden beneath the sand.
Our Dino Dig zone is transformed into a jungle expedition base. Think lush foliage bunting, towering 2D dinosaur cut-outs, a themed archway to welcome explorers, and a ranger’s counter ready for sign-ups. The air is buzzing with excitement as two friendly Dino Rangers in full costume greet families and brief them on their mission.
At the heart of the experience lies the fossil excavation table — carefully designed for little hands to brush away the sand and reveal mysterious fossil shapes. Using the tools provided, children work alongside our Dino Rangers to identify their finds and complete their official Fossil Finders worksheet. This isn’t just an activity — it’s a palaeontology adventure brought to life.
Once the dig is complete, each young explorer earns their very own Dino Ranger button badge as a mark of their achievement. And the fun doesn’t stop there… the final part of the expedition is an unforgettable encounter with our incredibly lifelike baby velociraptor puppet. Brave explorers can get up close, ask questions, and capture the perfect prehistoric selfie before heading off to share their adventure stories.
The adventure continues beyond the dig with our Dinosaur Trail. Armed with a trail map, families can follow the path through the centre to spot colourful dinosaur window vinyls. Each stop reveals fun prehistoric facts and clues that lead to the next location — with the completed trail map making a perfect keepsake from the day.
